WHAT I DO
There is no medium that can bring the intimacy and the warmth that radio does. A radio presenter’s role is to connect with sometimes thousands of people at once, but make every experience feel special and individual.
For almost 20 years I have been proud to broadcast on the radio for a wide variety of radio groups in a wide variety of roles. Previously I was part of the launch of the West Midlands and South Wales largest single radio station “Signal 107” as Breakfast Show presenter. From there I worked for Global hosting the Drivetime show for Heart North East – as well as regular cover work for Heart South West and Heart Yorkshire. I adapted my skillset from commercial radio to speech-led broadcast as a frequent presenter for the BBC Local Radio network (in particular BBC Newcastle and BBC Radio Tees) whilst also appearing as stand-in presenter for BRMB in Birmingham, Metro Radio in Newcastle and TFM in Teesside.
As the industry has changed I have used my presenting and production skills in a wide range of Podcasting roles, including as contributing producer and creative consultant on BBC Sounds projects.
